Richard Levitz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial management and legal practice. Currently serving as Managing Director for the Midwest Region at Alera Group, Inc. since January 2023, Richard previously held several leadership roles at Alera Group (GCG Financial) from August 1992 to January 2023, including Managing Partner and President of Alera Investment Advisors. Additionally, Richard was the Practice Leader for Alera Retirement Plan Services and Alera Wealth Management. Earlier in Richard's career, experience was gained as a Corporate Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, and public company work. Richard holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.), Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Denver.
