Sunil Swami oversees Alerus’ investment advisory services, including business strategy, operations, and investment decisions. Prior to joining Alerus in 2004, Mr. Swami was an equity analyst and portfolio manager for institutions, pension funds, and high-net-worth individuals at Delphi Capital Management in Boston. At Delphi, Mr. Swami worked for Scott Black, a well-known value investor and member of Barron’s Roundtable. This investment experience enhanced his knowledge of all sectors of the economy. Mr. Swami has also held senior management positions at Campbell Soup Co. and Polaroid Corp., in addition to owning and operating his own technology company. He holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India, and earned an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, in Boston.
