Graeme Bateman has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Graeme is currently the Managing Director of Global Product Marketing at Alētheia Capital since 2019. Prior to that, Graeme held various senior roles at Nomura International (HK) Limited, including Managing Director of APAC Research Sales, Head of Middle Market Sales, and Head of Generalist Sales in Hong Kong. Graeme was responsible for running sales and distribution of equity research to institutional investors across Asia. Additionally, Graeme has experience in Korean equity sales and was the Head of Korean Equity Research at Nomura. Before joining Nomura, they worked as an Investment Manager and Head of Korean Research at Schroders. Graeme also served as a Board Member at Kellett School, The British International School in Hong Kong from 2010 to 2014.
Graeme Bateman received their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of St Andrews in the years 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Wellington College from 1982 to 1987. Graeme also holds additional certifications, including the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from FT Board Director Programme (obtained in 2020), AIIMR certification from CFA UK (obtained in 1996), and Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK (obtained in 1995).
