Samantha Kylander has extensive experience in special education and educational leadership, currently serving as the Student Services Coordinator and Educational Program Lead - Senior Teacher at the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism since August 2012. In these roles, Samantha oversees educational programming, mentors and trains teachers, participates in leadership discussions, and manages the student enrollment process, among other responsibilities. Prior to this, Samantha worked as a Senior Teacher and Special Education Teacher in both elementary and high school settings for a total of 4.5 years. Samantha's earlier experience includes serving as a Summer Camp Counselor and Site Director for the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association from June 2008 to August 2012. Samantha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Saint Louis University in 2012 and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at the American College of Education.
