Malisa Shuler

Malisa Shuler, PsyD, currently serves as the Executive Director at Alexander Youth Network since April 2025, after holding the position of Residential Director at New Hope Treatment Centers Inc from July 2023 to April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Quality Improvement Specialist at THOMPSON Child & Family Focus from January 2022 to June 2023, and various positions at Alexander Youth Network from June 2014 to December 2021, including PRTF Supervisor, Lead Behavioral Health Counselor, and Behavioral Health Counselor. Malisa's early career involved an internship in counseling and case management at Torture Abolition and Survivor's Support Coalition International (TASSC) in 2013. Malisa holds a Doctor of Psychology in Behavioral Health Leadership from Walden University, a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
