Mette Breth Bakmand

Mette Breth Bakmand has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mette Breth worked as a Senior Digital Designer & UX Specialist at Alexandra Instituttet from April 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they were a Digital Designer at the same company, where they created visual and digital communication. Mette Breth also worked as a Communication and Graphic Designer assistant at Alexandra Instituttet from January 2013 to November 2013, focusing on web development and visual profiles.

Before joining Alexandra Instituttet, Mette owned and worked as a Photoshop Artist at BRETH DESIGN, a company they started in July 2009. Mette Breth also worked as a Freelance Photographer for Airbnb from March 2012 to February 2014, helping hosts improve their listings through professional photographs.

In terms of other positions, Mette worked as a Waiter at Atletion/ NrGI Arena from March 2008 to January 2012. Additionally, they worked at Carat (Aegis Media) as a Communication student employee in the advertisement department from August 2009 to May 2011. Mette Breth also gained experience as an Intern in Communication at FRÜD/Mad Med Smag in August to October 2010.

From 2009 to 2012, they attended Aarhus University, where they earned a Cand.mag. degree in Aesthetics and Culture.

In 2008 and 2009, they studied at TEKO - design and business academy within the fashion and lifestyle industry, obtaining a BA degree in Brand Management.

In 2015, they completed a Dagskursus at Kursusfabrikken, focusing on Axure RP Pro.

In 2013, they attended Jensens Kurser and received a Frontend developer/designer degree, with a focus on HTML, CSS, interaktionsdesign, and Art Direction.

Also in 2013, they studied Graphic Design at Jensens Kurser, specializing in web design with WordPress.

From 2006 to 2008, they pursued a degree in Designteknolog (Design Technology) at TEKO - design and business academy within the fashion and lifestyle industry, with a concentration on Visual Merchandising.

In 2002 and 2004, they attended Randers HF & VUC, where they completed a 2-year HF program.

In 2018, they took a course on WordPress at Jensens Kurser.
