Kirsten Reese has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Kirsten began their career as a Teacher with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in 1988 and continued in that role until 2001. Kirsten then worked as a Teacher- 5th grade with Spotsylvania County from 2006 to 2009. Kirsten subsequently joined Spotsylvania County Schools as a Teacher- 3rd grade and Kindergarten from 2012 to 2017. Kirsten then transitioned to Prince William County Public Schools as an ESOL Teacher from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Kirsten joined Alexandria Insights, Inc. as a Technical Editor, where they provided support for Marine Corps Command Element Systems. Kirsten later assumed the role of Operations Manager in 2019.
Kirsten Reese attended Elon University from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Their field of study at Elon University was Elementary Education, with a minor in Business Administration. Following this, from 1994 to 1996, they attended George Mason University and obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
