Mary Kachinsky

Mary Kachinsky, CPSM., C.P.M. is an experienced leader in strategic sourcing and operations within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Head of R&D Global Strategic Sourcing and Support Services at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since April 2020, Kachinsky previously held the position of Vice President of Strategic Sourcing at Kaleido Biosciences and Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Operations at FORMA Therapeutics, where significant contributions included developing formal sourcing processes and building sustainable supply networks. Earlier roles include Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, where Kachinsky launched a new sourcing organization, and Director of Worldwide Procurement at Pfizer Inc., overseeing a team focused on optimizing spending and improving productivity. Kachinsky's career began at Bose Corporation and includes other roles in materials management and purchasing, supported by a BA in Business Management from Boston College and an MS in Management from Rensselaer at Work.
