Subhasis Das

Subhasis Das is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the mining, construction, and industrial sectors. Currently serving as Cluster President and Managing Director for Alfa Laval India since February 2024, Subhasis previously held the position of Managing Director at Alfa Laval India from December 2020 to February 2024. Prior to that, Subhasis was the Managing Director and President of Sales Area India at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology from February 2020 to December 2020 and served in various roles at Sandvik from 2008 to 2020, culminating as Vice President and Head of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology in India. Subhasis’s career also includes significant positions at Reliance Industries Limited and Shell, along with early roles at Coal India Limited and Sandvik. Subhasis holds a B.Tech degree in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, earned between 1988 and 1992.
