Jon Black has extensive experience in controls engineering and project design, currently serving as a Controls Engineer-Mission Critical at AlfaTech since February 2022, where responsibilities include leading a team in the design and delivery of construction documents for hyper-scale data centers. Prior roles include Project Designer at CBRE | ESI, focusing on controls system design for large fulfillment centers, and Control Systems Programmer at Siemens, where programming and designing building automation systems were key duties. Earlier experience includes project engineering at ATS Automation, an engineering internship at AirClean Energy, and a production leadership role at Nintendo. Jon Black holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics from the University of Washington and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bellevue College.
