Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson, PE, is a senior project manager at Benesch since January 2017, specializing in railroad services in the southeast, overseeing project management, design development, quality control, and safety. With over 28 years of civil engineering experience, including 25 years in consulting for the railroad and related industries, Brian previously held the position of senior rail engineer at Stantec and HDR. Brian's expertise encompasses railroad design, operations, environmental permitting, and construction engineering. Brian earned an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1983 and 1987.
