Jeff Sockel

Jeff Sockel, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Senior Vice President and Omaha Division Manager at Benesch since June 2010, overseeing business development and managing a range of civil and infrastructure projects, including roadways, airports, and site development. Prior to this role, Jeff was the Omaha Office Manager at HWS Consulting Group from January 1999 to June 2010, where responsibilities included project management and engineering design. Jeff began the professional career as a Staff Engineer at Great Plains Testing Laboratories from May 1992 to December 1998, focusing on construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering. An educational background in Industrial Engineering and Economics was obtained at Kansas State University from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Jeff holds board positions with Alfred Benesch & Company and ACEC/Nebraska.
