Matthew Covington

Matthew Covington is a civil engineer with significant experience in structural engineering and design. Currently serving as a Designer II at Benesch since February 2024, Matthew previously held positions as a Structural Engineer and Structural Engineer I at Uzun + Case, LLC from January 2022 to February 2024. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Civil Structural Engineer Intern at Enercon Services, Inc., where assistance was provided on structural calculations for projects at nuclear power plants. Matthew’s foundational experience includes three co-op rotations at the Georgia Department of Transportation, focusing on bridge design. Matthew holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 2015 and 2021.
