Ariadna Recasens

Ariadna Recasens serves as a Senior Research Officer at Alfred Health since March 2023 and previously held the position of Board Observer at Holmesglen until December 2023. Recasens contributed as a Healthtech advisor and Partner at Think & Grow from January 2022 to October 2023, and participated as a Startmate Autumn22 Fellow in 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Lecturer and Postdoctoral Research Associate in Glioblastoma Therapy at the University of Sydney from October 2014 to January 2022, along with a Post-doctoral Researcher position at the Kolling Institute of Medical Research. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR), a Master's degree in Neuroscience from Universitat de Barcelona, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
