Ad de Pijper has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Ad is currently the Director of Products Value Stream Division at Algas-SDI, where they provide overall direction and develops operational plans to meet profit and sales objectives. Previously, Ad was the Director of Engineering at Modern Electron, where they led design, manufacturing, testing, and deployment activities for power generation products. Ad also held multiple positions at Alphabet Energy, including SVP of Operations & Product Engineering, VP of Operations, and Director of Product Engineering, where they were responsible for strategy, planning, and execution of engineering, manufacturing, and product delivery operations. Ad also worked at Eclipse, Inc. as the Director of Product Development, overseeing product engineering, support, and R&D activities. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at Cleaver-Brooks, managing a team and integrating new technologies into product lines. Ad started their career at Aalborg Industries as the Manager of Process and Combustion Engineering, successfully improving project deliverables and managing multiple contracts for combined-cycle power plant projects.
Ad de Pijper attended Eindhoven University of Technology from 1984 to 1989, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

We hold internationally recognized certifications or approvals including FM, UL, CSA, CE, ATEX, DEMKO, ASME, PED and others. We employ nearly 100 people with stocking distributors, agents and partners in 67 countries. Our North American network alone includes 74 distributor locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Algas-SDI branded products go to market via two internal divisions: LPG Distributed Products and Engineered Systems. Our Distributed Products Division manages the application and sales of standard, pre-engineered, small to medium capacity LPG vaporizer and tank heater products. Our Engineered Systems Division originated before WWII to manage the design and sale of customized and large capacity LPG products and complete Synthetic Natural Gas systems. SNG is a blend of LPG vapor and air mixed to a specific ratio allowing interchangeability with natural gas. An SNG system represents to the natural gas grid user what a generator represents to the power grid user.
