Dimitrios Karadimos

Dimitrios Karadimos is an experienced professional currently serving as Group Chief Risk Officer and Deputy Head of Risk at Algebris Investments since March 2019. Prior roles at Algebris include Director of Risk Management and Risk Manager. Before joining Algebris, Dimitrios owned Calculated Risk Ltd, providing consultancy on financial risk. Dimitrios also spent 15 years at Aspect Capital as a Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst and Senior Java Software Engineer, overseeing risk management and developing trading algorithms. Earlier roles include Software Architect for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Organising Committee and positions at AePONA and Ericsson. Dimitrios holds advanced degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Quantitative Finance and engineering degrees from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
