Xander Bordeaux is a highly experienced IT auditor and researcher with a strong focus on information security, cybersecurity, and IT lifecycle management. Currently serving as a researcher and account manager in Digital Government at Algemene Rekenkamer since March 2019, Xander is responsible for the Accountability Audit IT. Previous roles include Vice President of Risk & Security at NIBC Bank, where Xander built a new information security risk approach, and Senior Auditor at ABN AMRO, with a focus on the Corporate Information Security Office. Xander's career began in IT auditing at the Ministry of Finance, with further specialized roles at various government entities, including the Ministry of Defence and Provincie Zuid-Holland. Xander holds a Drs. / MSc in Information Management from Tilburg University and additional credentials in Public Sector Auditing and IT Auditing from Nyenrode Business University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.

De Algemene Rekenkamer controleert of rijksoverheid geld uitgeeft en beleid uitvoert zoals het de bedoeling was. Dit doen we al sinds 1814. We doen dit met onderzoek naar rechtmatigheid, doelmatigheid, doeltreffendheid en integriteit. We rapporteren onze onderzoeksresultaten aan de Tweede Kamer.
