Tyler Butler

Tyler Butler is a Backend Software Engineer at Algolia since February 2022, with extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Previously, Tyler worked at Lockheed Martin from July 2016 to March 2022, serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Technical Lead, where oversight was provided for a team of flight software engineers and contributions were made to the development of safety-critical flight software for NASA's Orion spacecraft. Tyler's expertise includes enhancing filesystem throughput and providing critical support at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Tyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Boston University, complemented by an educational experience at Technische Universität Dresden.
