Marco Antônio

Marco Antônio has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Marco started their career as a Researcher of Scientific Initiation at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, where they worked on algorithms and data structures. Marco later worked as a Tutor of Algorithms and Data Structures, assisting students with their studies.

In 2018, Marco joined iMobilis as a Researcher in the field of embedded systems, focusing on the development of embedded systems and mobile applications. Marco also contributed to the development of hardware for IoT solutions using LoRa technology.

Marco then worked at Yardim Serviços de Informação as an Intern, and later as a Full Stack Developer. Here, they were involved in the development of new functionalities and bug fixing in projects using Angular, .NET, ASP.NET, and TypeScript.

In 2019, Marco had a summer internship at Aperam, where they developed solutions with GUI for simulation routines using GNU Octave. Marco also created an automated spreadsheet that acquired data from different servers and organized them using VBA and SQL.

From 2020 to 2021, Marco returned to Yardim Serviços de Informação as a Full Stack Developer, continuing their work in developing functionalities and bug fixing in various projects.

In 2021, they joined dti digital as a Software Developer, focusing on web development using .NET and React, as well as load tests with k6.

Later in the same year, Marco moved to Cuidas, a company that was acquired by Alice. As a Software Engineer, they contributed to the development based on DDD and EDA, using technologies such as Mongo, Node.js, Express with Apollo Server, React, and React Native, all integrated with TypeScript. Marco also worked on designing the architecture, writing tests with Jest, implementing Docker and Jenkins, and utilizing trunk-based code versioning.

Currently, Marco is working at Alice, an innovative healthcare organization in Brazil. As a Software Engineer, they contribute to the merge of primary healthcare and a direct-to-consumer health insurer, leveraging technology, empathy, transparency, and simplicity to improve health outcomes.

Marco Antônio completed their education at UFOP - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Their studies spanned from an unspecified start year to 2021.
