Richard Nicolin has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Richard is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Alight, a company focused on helping businesses across Europe switch to solar power. Prior to this, they served as the Co-Founder and CFO of Alight, where they played a key role in developing and operating solar plants.

Additionally, Richard has served as a Board Member for Nordstjernan Credit, an investment firm specializing in the Nordic corporate credit market, and Rosti Automotive, a UK-based manufacturer of injection-molded plastic components for the automotive sector. Richard has also been a Board Member for Rosti Group, a global manufacturer of injection-molded plastic components serving various industries.

Before their involvement in the renewable energy and manufacturing sectors, Richard worked at Nordstjernan as an Investment Manager, where they contributed capital and expertise to both listed and unlisted companies in the Nordic region. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, a top business consulting firm, and as an Analyst at Nordstjernan AB.

Richard Nicolin attended the Stockholm School of Economics from 2001 to 2006, where they earned their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business and Economics. Additionally, from 2000 to 2006, they studied at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they also obtained an MSc degree, this time in Industrial Engineering.
