Kerry Matsumoto

Kerry Matsumoto has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare and technology industries. From 1980 to 1994, Matsumoto served as the Director of Technology Enterprise Systems at Boeing, overseeing application development for multiple departments. From 1995 to 2005, Matsumoto held positions at PacifiCare Behavioral Health, including SVP and CIO, where they managed IT and administrative operations. From 2006 to 2008, Matsumoto was the SVP and CIO at United Behavioral Health, leading IT services for the organization. Matsumoto then joined CareMore Health Plan as the SVP and CIO from 2007 to 2011, where they developed and implemented an integrated population health management platform. From 2011 to 2013, Matsumoto worked at Anthem as the CIO for Caremore and VP for Anthem Medicare Programs, where they oversaw the IT platform and membership for Medicare Solutions. Since 2013, Matsumoto has been with Alignment Healthcare, initially serving as the CIO and later as the SVP of Clinical Product and SVP of Technology & Market Implementation. In these roles, Matsumoto was responsible for program development, technology enablement, risk management, and program reporting, among other responsibilities.

Kerry Matsumoto obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from UCLA in the period of 1996 to 1997. Prior to that, Kerry graduated with an MBA (Honors Beta Gamma Sigma) and a BS in Quantitative Systems from California State University, Long Beach, although the specific years of enrollment are not provided.
