Derrick de Leon

Derrick De Leon has over 20 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity, holding various leadership positions across reputable organizations. At Aligos Therapeutics from August 2018 to July 2025, Derrick served as Vice President and Head of IT and Cybersecurity, in addition to previously holding roles as Executive Director and Sr. Director of Information Technology. Prior to this, Derrick worked at Johnson & Johnson as Director of Information Technology from November 2014 to August 2018. Derrick’s earlier career includes serving as Director of Information Technology at Alios BioPharma from September 2009 to October 2014 and as Sr. IT Manager at CoMentis, Inc. from October 2006 to September 2009. Derrick began the career as an IT Manager at Threshold Pharmaceuticals from March 2004 to September 2006.
