Mr. Mwangi Ndege Daniel has extensive work experience in humanitarian and development roles. Mr Mwangi Ndege currently holds the position of Head of Mission at ALIMA, where they are responsible for leadership and management, designing and evaluating country strategies, and maintaining donor relations. Prior to this, they worked as a Projects Coordinator at ALIMA, overseeing the implementation of health projects in Sudan and collaborating with government departments and donors.
Before joining ALIMA, Mr. Daniel served as a Projects Coordinator at Medair, where they conducted needs assessments and established project activities in Jonglei State. Mr Mwangi Ndege also worked as a Shelter and Infrastructure Project Manager at the Danish Refugee Council, responsible for managing projects related to shelter and infrastructure.
In their earlier years, Mr. Daniel held the position of Emergency Coordinator/Area Manager at the Danish Refugee Council in Uganda. In this role, they supervised emergency response and other projects, provided guidance to multi-sectoral support for refugees, and led assessments and project planning.
Overall, Mr. Mwangi Ndege Daniel has demonstrated expertise in leadership, project coordination, and managing humanitarian and development initiatives.
Mr Mwangi Ndege Daniel pursued a post-graduate degree in Water and Environmental Management from Loughborough University. Mr Mwangi Ndege attended the university from 2011 to 2016, successfully completing their Master of Science program during this period.
