Alison Brooks is the Founder and Creative Director of Alison Brooks Architects, a position held since June 1996. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the National Design Review Panel Chair for Design Council/CABE, Alison Brooks has also contributed as a Gensler Visiting Critic at Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. Other notable roles include membership on the Board of Trustees for Open City and serving as the Mayor's Design Advocate for the Mayor of London. Alison Brooks has been involved in various educational capacities, such as the John T. Dunlop Design Critic at Harvard University Graduate School of Design and as an External Examiner at the Architectural Association. Prior to founding Alison Brooks Architects, Alison Brooks was a Partner at Ron Arad Associates Ltd from January 1990 to 1996. Academic credentials include a B.E.S, B.Arch, and an honorary doctorate in architecture from the University of Waterloo.
