Jeff Jilg is an experienced Chief Information Security Officer with a strong background in security management, risk assessment, and IT consulting. Currently serving as CISO at Aliya Financial Technologies since March 2016, Jeff oversees security and audits for the company. Additionally, Jeff provides consulting services for various organizations, focusing on audit leadership, vulnerability evaluations, and security implementation across multiple compliance standards, including PCI DSS and ISO 27001. Previous roles include CISO and VP of Information Technology at Buzz Points, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed corporate security and IT operations, and Principal Security Consultant at atsec information security corporation, managing the PCI business. Jeff holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, a Master’s in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Humboldt State University.
