David Madden

David Madden is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Alkermes since February 2019, after holding the position of Manager in the same department. Prior experience includes a tenure at Smurfit Kappa from January 2014 to January 2019, where responsibilities included serving as Finance Management Assistant to the CEO and later to the Finance Director, managing budgets, strategic plans, and investment evaluations across various regions. Earlier roles also included positions at KPMG as an Audit Associate and leading a volunteer team in an educational development initiative in Mombasa, along with a sabbatical focused on language studies in Argentina. David holds an ACA qualification from Chartered Accountants Ireland and a BESS degree from Trinity College Dublin.
