Valeh Tehranchi has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. They have worked in various roles and companies, starting with EIRIS as a Project Manager in Corporate Social Responsibility from 2008 to 2014. In 2016, they joined Finmark Communications Limited as a Senior Associate, where they helped companies in emerging market economies enhance their profiles with investors. Valeh also worked as an International Partnership Manager at re:publica from 2017 to 2018, managing partnership acquisition for events related to digital society. From 2018 to 2018, they served as an Event Manager & Speaker Relationship Manager at Web3 Foundation, organizing the first Web3 Summit. In 2019, they joined Gnosis as an Event Project Manager, and in 2020, they worked as a Project Manager at EIT Climate-KIC, focusing on strategic events. Valeh's most recent experience is working at the World Food Programme from 2020 to 2021, where they served as an Event Project Manager and Mentor Community Relationship Manager at the WFP Innovation Accelerator. Currently, they are working as a Senior Project Manager - Developer Community Initiatives at Ignite (formerly Tendermint Inc.) since August 2021.
Valeh Tehranchi pursued their education at the University of Sussex from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in International Relations. Later, in 2009, they enrolled at the SOAS University of London and completed a Master of Science degree in Globalization and Development in 2010.

In 2014, our CEO, Jae Kwon, was the first to introduce a solution to the Proof-of-Stake distributed consensus problem, building the core infrastructure that powers Cosmos today including Tendermint Core and Cosmos SDK.
