Dumisani Gumbi

Dumisani Gumbi currently serves as the Group Data Privacy Officer and Statutory Information Officer at Sanlam, where responsibilities include leading the Group Data Privacy Office and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws. Previously held positions at Sanlam include Manager of IT Governance and Compliance, Group IT Governance Program Manager, and IT Governance Architect. Dumisani is also an Education Mentor with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, working with emerging leaders, and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Cape Peninsula University of Technology Council. Additionally, Dumisani is a member of the Board of Directors for ISACA South Africa Chapter and has extensive experience in ICT Governance from a previous role at the Parliament of RSA.
