Sinazo Maqezu

Sinazo Maqezu currently serves as a Recruitment & Selection Specialist at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, a position held since March 2020, where responsibilities include stakeholder relations, strategy support, and research for the Fellowship Selection team. Previously, as a Fellowship Programme Officer, Sinazo coached participants and ensured high retention rates. Prior experience includes a role as Campus Coordinator at Studietrust, providing academic and psychosocial support to university students, and serving as Peer Career Support at the University of Cape Town, coordinating career expos and liaising with employers. Sinazo was also a Mastercard Foundation Scholar during studies at the University of Cape Town, where a BSocScie (Honours) in Industrial Sociology and a Bachelor's in Social Sciences were earned. Additional roles included managing reception duties for residence students and designing marketing collateral for faculty events.
