Marissa M. Dennis

Marissa Dennis is a Litigation Partner and the Office Operating Partner at Allen Matkins, where Marissa has focused on commercial, real estate, and financial services litigation since 2006. With extensive trial experience, Marissa has chaired over a dozen trials and arbitrations and has successfully argued in various California courts, including the California Court of Appeal. In addition to legal practice, Marissa served as a Board Member for the California Minority Counsel Program from 2015 to 2022, including roles as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance Committee. Marissa's earlier experience includes externships at the US District Court and the Western Center on Law and Poverty, as well as social work and counseling positions. Marissa holds a JD from Loyola Law School, a MSW from UCLA, and a BA in Political Science and Public Policy from UCLA.
