Sarah Spence has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Sarah is currently working at Allergan Aesthetics as the Associate Vice President of Strategic Marketing Operations since October 2022. Prior to that, they held executive roles at AbbVie, serving as the Executive Director of Operations at Allergan Data Labs from October 2021 to October 2022, and as the Director of Business Human Resources at Allergan Aesthetics from May 2020 to October 2021. Sarah started their career at Allergan in 2010, where they held several positions in compensation, including Director, Associate Director, and Compensation Manager. Before joining Allergan, they worked at Watson Pharmaceuticals as a Compensation Analyst and in various roles within Human Resources and Compensation.
Sarah Spence earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Human Resources from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2001. Sarah later pursued a Masters of Science degree in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne, which they completed in 2010. In addition, Sarah has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Compensation Professional and Global Remuneration Professional from WorldatWork, the Total Rewards Association, in 2009 and 2012 respectively. Sarah also obtained a certification in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in 2020.
