Erin Diaz is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Vice President of Scholar, Family, and Community Services at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools since July 2019, and previously held the role of Director of Scholar Services. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Service Director at City Year from July 2016 to July 2019, where Erin led improvements in service models across 32 high-need schools, managed relationships with the Los Angeles Unified School District, and supported approximately 300 AmeriCorps members. Erin also contributed to the founding of Equitas Academy Charter School as School Director from 2013 to January 2016 and held teaching positions at both Equitas Academy and KIPP Academy of Opportunity, where responsibilities included chairing the Social Studies Department and coaching cheerleading. Erin began this educational journey as a Corps Member with Teach For America in 2006. Educational background includes attendance at Pepperdine University.
