Kyle R. MacDonald

Kyle R. MacDonald, MD, MPH, CPH, currently serves as the Chief Science & Program Officer at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation since April 2023. Previously, Kyle held the position of Senior Associate Advisory at KPMG US from April 2022 to March 2023. With a strong background in public health, Kyle worked at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from June 2019 to April 2022, serving as both Senior Program Lead and Project Lead for the CDC's Opioid Overdose Crisis Response Technical Assistance Program, in addition to roles as Consultant Researcher and HRTP Graduate Intern. Kyle has also contributed as a Curriculum Innovation Specialist and Lecturer at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and gained medical experience as a Resident Physician in Pediatrics at the University of Ottawa from July 2015 to June 2018. Kyle earned a Doctor of Medicine from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen's University.
