Adriaan du Toit

Adriaan du Toit is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in emerging market research and strategic analysis. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Director of Emerging Market Sovereign and Corporate Credit Research (ex-Asia) at AllianceBernstein since November 2017, Adriaan previously held the position of Director and Sub-Saharan Africa Currency and Rates Strategist at Citi from March 2013 to November 2017. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Fixed-Income Strategist at Standard Bank Group from February 2007 to February 2013 and as an Economist at the South African Reserve Bank from January 2004 to January 2007. Adriaan holds a Master's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, completed in July 2009, and a Master's degree in Econometrics from the University of Pretoria, obtained in December 2004.
