Mike Selan

Mike Selan is an experienced technology leader with over two decades in the financial services sector, currently serving as VP and Head of Private Wealth Portfolio Implementation & Trading Technology at AllianceBernstein since August 2000. In this role, Mike leads the design, development, and technical strategy for a sophisticated portfolio management and trading platform, overseeing a team of skilled software engineers and collaborating with portfolio managers to enhance trading strategies and optimize investment processes for $50 billion across 35,000 accounts. Prior roles at AllianceBernstein include VP positions focused on infrastructure application development, corporate technology systems, and corporate and infrastructure software development, where Mike managed substantial teams and budgets to deliver robust technology solutions. Mike began a career in technology with positions at CaseWorks Management and Johnson & Higgins, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
