Peter Salemink

Peter Salemink is a Senior Scientific Software Engineer and Product Owner at Alliander since November 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing a team maintaining the Power Grid Model, an open-source grid calculation library. Alongside, Peter serves as a member of the Technical Steering Committee for the Power Grid Model organization. Currently, Peter also works as a Data Scientist and Guest Lecturer at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, teaching a course on Power System Computation and Simulation. Prior experiences include roles as a Data Engineer and System Engineer at Taylor Technologies Holding BV, and an internship at IBIS Power. Peter's educational background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, attained between 2013 and 2020.
