Omar Chaudhary

Omar Chaudhary serves as the Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer at Alliant Energy since March 2022, previously holding the positions of Acting Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer and Assistant Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer. Prior to Alliant Energy, Omar held various roles at Owens Corning from March 2016 to March 2022, including Director of Securities, Governance and Compliance, and Assistant Secretary. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Libbey Inc., Attorney at Butzel Long, and Judicial Clerk at the U.S. District Court. Omar began a career in law at Latham & Watkins LLP and worked as an Analyst at Gartner before attending law school. Educational background includes a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, an MA from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Economics and History from Middlebury College, with studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
