Ivan Guadaño Castillo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Ivan began their career at Tillinghast - Towers Perrin as a trainee in 2004. Ivan then joined PwC as a Financial and Actuarial Audit Senior Manager in 2005, where they specialized in the insurance sector and worked on Solvency II projects.
In 2015, Ivan moved to AXA Emerging Markets EMEA-LATAM, where they served as the Risk Manager and Head of P&C Reserves for AXA International and New Markets. Ivan was responsible for developing the reserving process across subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with AXA Group Standards.
In 2018, Ivan transitioned to AXA International and New Markets as the P&C Risk Manager and CRO Support. Ivan played a key role in managing various processes, including reserves, underwriting, and reinsurance for African entities and Turkey. Additionally, they supported the Chief Risk Officers of African entities in defining and monitoring their objectives.
Most recently, Ivan joined Allianz Direct in 2022 as the Head of Finance. Ivan led the local Finance Area of Fenix Directo and the Allianz Direct branch until their merge in July 2023. In this role, they were responsible for IFRS financial planning and controlling, as well as contributing to other processes such as actuarial reserving, risk management, and corporate income tax.

Ivan Guadaño Castillo holds a Master's degree in Solvency II from Universitat de Barcelona, obtained in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Licenciatura en Ciencias Actuariales y Financieras from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, spanning from 1999 to 2004.
