Bernhard Klintworth

Bernhard Klintworth is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Planning & Reporting in Investment Controlling at Allianz Global Investors since June 2018, overseeing alternative investments totaling over EUR 56 billion. Prior to this role, Bernhard worked at EY from May 2015 to May 2018, where responsibilities included managing assurance services and financial audits for a diverse client base, including DAX listed entities, with a focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Bernhard's career at EY began in February 2011 and featured progression from Auditor to Senior Accountant, including a secondment to the Zurich office. Academically, Bernhard holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Pretoria, complemented by a high school qualification from Deutsche Schule Pretoria.
