Zakia Medkor

Zakia Medkor is a seasoned professional in the insurance and engineering fields, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Corporate Underwriting at Allianz Maroc since April 2023. With extensive experience at Allianz from June 2021 to August 2023 as the Head of the Underwriting Unit and Construction Specialist, and prior roles including Head of Facultative Reinsurance and Engineering specialties, Zakia has demonstrated significant expertise in construction, engineering lines, liability, professional indemnity, and cyber insurance. Zakia's earlier career includes positions at Zurich Assurances Maroc as Head of Construction and Engineering Lines and as an engineer for ALIF Ingénierie and Groupement entreprise Autoroute Casa Marrakech. Zakia holds a Business and Corporate Strategy Certificate from HEC Paris and an Ingénieur d'Etat in civil engineering from École Hassania des Travaux Publics, complemented by preparatory studies in mathematics and physics.
