Mr. Zafar Iqbal is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He has thirty-five years of experience in senior management positions in financial and power generation sector. He was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pak Oman Investment Company Limited, a Development Finance Institution owned jointly by the Governments of Pakistan and Sultanate of Oman. During his eight years stay at Pak Oman Investment Company Limited he led the company in becoming the leading Development Financial Institution in its peer group. Over the past twenty years, he has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of number of listed and non-listed companies and financial institutions. He is a “Certified Director” from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. He specialized in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Leasing, Aircraft Financing and Energy and Power Generation. He is the member of the Board of Directors of the Bank since August 2015. He is also a nominee director on the Board of Directors of Habib Allied Holding Limited (HAHL), United Kingdom on behalf of the Bank.
