Bob McGowan

Bob McGowan is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a robust background in the commercial vehicle and aftermarket sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of National Accounts and Transit Growth for Allison Transmission since September 2016, McGowan leads a team focused on increasing sales of Allison products within large national truck fleets and transit properties across North America. Previously, McGowan held the role of Director of Sales Operations North America at Wabash National, where responsibilities included driving growth in a $95M retail trailer sales business. Prior to that, McGowan spent over a decade at Eaton Corporation, ascending through various sales and marketing roles, notably managing a $200M+ product line and leading an aftermarket sales team. McGowan's career also includes positions at C Tech Industries and SPX Corporation, along with degrees in History (BA) and Business Administration (MBA) from Norwich University.
