Julia Thust has a diverse work experience in data operations, IT analysis, and system analysis. Julia began their career in 2014 as a System Analyst at Tieto, where they designed, modelled, and specified technical solutions for the development of a single product - core-banking system. Julia also supported the creation of business requirements and developing processes, as well as supervised and improved the process of system analysis. In 2016, they moved to Pocosys as an IT Analyst, where they were involved in the development of pricing, saving account/demand deposit, customer/account life cycles, debt handling, budgeting, and more. Julia also provided consultation to banking business specialists and created meaningful documentation. In 2017, Julia joined ifb Canada Management Consulting, Inc. as a Consultant, where they worked on S/4HANA implementation and other SAP finance solutions at medium to large finance institutions. Finally, in 2019, they joined Alloy, where they held the roles of Data Operations Manager, Data Operations Team Lead, Senior Data Operations Analyst, and Data Operations Analyst.
Julia Thust obtained their Associate of Arts (AA) in Classical Piano from Georg Ots Tallinn School of Music between 2007 and 2011. Julia then went on to study Information Technology at Tallinn University of Technology, where they earned their Bachelor's degree between 2010 and 2013. In 2014, they returned to Tallinn University of Technology to pursue a Master's Degree in Information Technology, which they completed in 2017. During this time, they also studied Human Computer Interaction at Chalmers University of Technology, earning their Master's Degree in 2015. Additionally, Julia has obtained various certifications from Coursera, including Exploratory Data Analysis, Introduction to Scripting in Python Specialization, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, Python Data Representations, Python Data Visualization, Python Programming Essentials, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox.
