Michael Martin

Michael Martin is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in security architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as Deputy CISO and Senior Security Architect at Allspring Global Investments since January 2023, Martin previously held the position of Senior Security Solutions Architect at Nymi, where involvement in sales support and product R&D was key. Prior to Nymi, Martin worked as Principal Software Engineer at Citrix, integrating acquired Framehawk products and managing security code processes. As Lead Architect at Framehawk Inc., Martin was instrumental in product development and customer engagement, while earlier experience as Senior Consultant at Desktop at a Distance, LLC involved deploying desktop virtualization technologies. Martin holds a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Biological Oceanography from the University of Washington.
