Wenwei Lin has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. They started their career at Desay SV Automotive Co., Ltd in 2013, where they worked as a Testing Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing testing modules, analyzing testing results, maintaining relationships with clients, and proposing testing standards. They also interned as a System Test and Development Intern, where they designed virtual electrical resistance and monitor systems and created a BCM testing demo.
In 2015, Wenwei Lin worked at Flaircomm Microelectronics, Inc as a Testing Engineer. Here, they performed Bluetooth and GPS testing and designed a signal adaption board.
In 2018, Wenwei Lin joined Allume Energy as an Intern before being promoted to System Engineer. They were involved in the development and improvement of test benches, power measurement accuracy, control algorithm design, and data analysis.
Wenwei Lin completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrument from Guangdong University of Technology, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Wenwei then pursued a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Melbourne from 2016 to 2018.

Allume Energy is a renewable technology company unlocking rooftop solar for the multidwelling market. Allume has invented the world's first hardware solution for solar on multifamily housing and apartments. The SolShare allows one rooftop solar installation to be shared by multiple residents in the one building. It is demand responsive tomaximise benefits to residents, and reduce exports of solar to the grid. Allume has installed SolShares in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
