Tapio Sallinen has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Tapio started their career in 2006 as a Design Coordinator at Aker Yards Cabins and then moved on to work as a Project Engineer at ALMACO Group in 2008. In 2012, they joined STX Finland Cabins as a Project Manager. Tapio returned to ALMACO Group in 2013 and held various roles including Project Engineer, Vice President of Design & Engineering, Senior Naval Architect, and Vice President of Special Projects. Tapio Sallinen's most recent role was as the Vice President of Design & Engineering at ALMACO Group, which started in February 2023.
Tapio Sallinen obtained a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology from Turku University of Applied Sciences. Tapio attended the university from 2001 to 2006.
