Alla Basim

Alla Basim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Almadar Aljadid since February 2023, Alla previously held significant roles at NISSA Libya, including Information Assurance Consultant and Deputy General Director, where notable achievements included authoring the NISSA strategy from 2016 to 2020 and building the national information security strategy. Prior experience also includes positions as Operations Manager at Estmrarya Management Consulting and Information Security Engineer at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, where technical support was provided for the Libyan Election Commission. Alla's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Higher Diploma in Automatic Control System from The Higher Institute for Computer Technology in Tripoli.
