Muzzammil Ahussain has an extensive work experience in the travel industry. Muzzammil started their career at Ernst & Young as an intern in 2003. Muzzammil later worked as a Summer Associate at Citigroup in 2009. In 2004, Muzzammil joined Accenture as a Senior Manager in the Middle East Strategy practice, where they played a key role in a strategic cost reduction program for a global food manufacturer.
In 2016, Muzzammil joined Seera Group as the Executive Vice President - Travel. Seera Group is publicly listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange and encompasses various travel businesses. During their time at Seera Group, Muzzammil was responsible for leveraging the group's technology platform to bring 40 years of travel knowledge to the digital sphere.
In the same year, Muzzammil also joined Almosafer as the Chief Operating Officer. Almosafer is Saudi Arabia's leading travel company and a part of Seera Group. Muzzammil's role at Almosafer involved elevating travel experiences by offering seamless user experiences for domestic and international travel bookings.
In 2018, Muzzammil took on the role of Executive Vice President at tajawal, where they focused on catering to the diverse needs of travelers from the UAE and beyond. Tajawal offers competitively-priced flights, accommodations, and holiday packages.
Currently, Muzzammil is the Chief Executive Officer of Almosafer, a position they assumed in 2023. In this role, they continue to elevate travel experiences and support Saudi Arabia's vision as a national champion for tourism.
Muzzammil Ahussain pursued their MBA degree at INSEAD in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Economics and Management at UC Irvine from 2001 to 2004.
