Kara Sherwood

Kara Sherwood currently serves as Senior Manager of Training Operations and Senior Manager of Marketing at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, having joined the company in May 2022. Previously, Kara held the position of Senior Manager of Brand Marketing at Flexion Therapeutics, where development of brand strategy and consistent messaging for the osteoarthritis space was a focus. Kara's experience includes roles as Managed Markets Marketing Consultant and Market Access Analyst at 1798 Consultants, where Kara led launch readiness plans for oncology products and rebranding initiatives. Earlier positions at Covance involved leading a Patient Assistance Program and supporting Hepatitis C Virus coverage obstacles. Kara also contributed to athletic programs at Drexel University as an Assistant Tennis Coach and held roles at Kirtland Country Club as an Assistant Tennis Professional. Kara holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Science and Technology from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cleveland State University.
