Simanta Gautam

Simanta Gautam is the Co-Founder and CEO of Alpen Labs, a company focused on developing financial infrastructure and cryptographic systems to enhance individual agency and broaden financial access. Previously, Simanta served as AI Lead at Palantir Technologies, leading the Edge AI and ML Infrastructure following the Synapse acquisition. As Founder and CTO of Synapse Technology Corporation, Simanta specialized in AI and computer vision for security and defense, successfully raising over $6 million in funding. Early experiences include research roles at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, MIT, and NASA, as well as internships at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Clarifai, where Simanta contributed to advancements in machine learning and deep learning technologies. Simanta holds an education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
